Milestone sessions are some of my favorites to capture. There’s something incredibly sweet about capturing a baby’s 1-year milestone, and I just love watching how little ones grow and change in such a short amount of time. A baby’s first birthday is a beautiful moment when babyhood begins to fade and toddlerhood starts to peek through. Adorable Valentina’s studio milestone session at my Bulverde, TX studio was the perfect celebration of her first birthday and budding personality!
One-Year Studio Milestone Session
Not every 1-year milestone has to include a cake smash. Valentina’s parents decided to opt out of that tradition and instead focus on a simple, sweet setup. She wore the most adorable light tan birthday dress, decorated with bright dots that looked just like tiny confetti and featuring a sparkly number 1. It was playful, fun, and absolutely perfect for her session.
She also brought along her best friends, a collection of the cutest stuffed animals, who joined in for a few portraits. These little details made her session so personal and unique to this moment in her life. We also added in a soft bunch of balloons, and a cute little rocker to round out her sweet session.
