Brackenridge Park Maternity Session

Francesca and Anthony’s Brackenridge Park maternity session in San Antonio, TX, was nothing short of magical. This sweet couple is eagerly anticipating the arrival of their baby girl in January, (so close now!) and capturing this special time in their lives was such an honor. As part of The Maternity + Newborn Collection I offer, I’m already looking forward to seeing them again in the new year—this time with their precious little one in tow!

Francesca chose two stunning looks for her session, each perfectly complementing the natural beauty of Brackenridge Park. Her first outfit, a light-colored patterned, flowy dress, was an ideal choice for the soft sunlight filtering through the trees. Later along the trail we found beautiful Spanish moss-covered trees that provided an enchanting backdrop.

For her second look, Francesca opted for a bold, dark green dress. We transitioned to a spot by the water, where the rich tones of her dress stood out beautifully against the serene setting.

One of the things I loved most about this session was how Francesca and Anthony added personal details to make it truly their own. Francesca brought a stunning bouquet from Blume Haus, which I just loved! Gorgeous flower bouquets like this add a touch of elegance and are a lovely addition to photos. She also incorporated small, meaningful props like a monogrammed blanket, tiny baby booties, and her baby girl’s sonogram. These thoughtful touches told the story of their growing family and made the session even more special.

I can’t wait to reunite with Francesca and Anthony in just a few short weeks for their newborn session. It means the world to me that they trust me to document this exciting new chapter in their lives.
