Now that the fall madness has settled down, I am so excited to get back to sharing some of the sweetest family sessions on the blog. There’s something truly special about photographing families year after year—watching little ones grow, seeing familiar smiles, and capturing their memories. The Lee family is one of those families that I love seeing each year! They are the sweetest and happiest family that I have ever had the privilege of photographing. This year we met at Phil Hardberger Park for their family session, a beautiful outdoor setting that provided the perfect mix of golden sunlight, open fields, and winding nature trails.

The Lee family has the sweetest little toddler, Caleb. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about photographing toddlers, it’s that the best moments come when you let them lead. That’s exactly what we did!
Rather than forcing poses, we embraced movement, laughter, and genuine connection. We flew like airplanes, ran, tickled, and giggled our way through the session. Caleb was completely FREE to be himself, and that freedom led to some of the most heartwarming, authentic images. His sweet personality shines so brightly, and it’s easy to see how much love and joy fills this family’s life.
As we were walking back to our cars at the very end, little Caleb reached for my hand and held it all the way there. It’s those small, unexpected moments that make my heart melt and remind me why I love what I do so much. Each year, I look forward to capturing new memories for the Lee family. I love that they let Caleb simply be during our sessions as it creates the most genuine and beautiful galleries. Thank you, Lee family, for trusting me once again to document these precious moments. I can’t wait to see you all again next year!
