Salis’s parents opted for more of a sweater wardrobe, and I am absolutely here for it! The soft, neutral tones, the cozy textures, and the effortless, real-life feel of their outfits made this session feel so incredibly authentic. Let’s be honest—during that 4th trimester, you’re living in your comfiest clothes, soaking up every snuggle, and adjusting to life with your newborn—as you should! While I adore gorgeous, flowy dresses and a fully styled look, this cozy aesthetic just feels real, and that’s what makes it so special. Even baby Salis was perfectly dressed for the occasion, wearing the most adorable cream, personalized sweater from Caden Lane.
One of my absolute favorite details of this session? Mom’s personalized necklace for her son. Tiny details like this hold so much meaning, and I love incorporating them into a session, as it adds such a perfect, personal touch to the final gallery. Whether it’s a special piece of jewelry, a family heirloom, or other personalized items, these small details make your newborn session all the more meaningful.
