Sweet little Fox recently celebrated his first birthday at my studio in Bulverde, TX with lots of giggles, the biggest smiles, and of course cake! From the moment he arrived, he lit up the space with his joyful personality, making this one-year milestone session such a fun one to capture. Cake smash sessions can sometimes go either way, but Fox was so into it! He dove right in tasting his cake and enjoying every second! Also, I just loved his outfit with the little foxes. It was so perfect for him, and the design was subtle and neutral so that it wasn’t distracting at all!
There’s something so special about this stage. Your baby has grown so much, and now they’re entering toddlerhood. This next year will be filled with wobbly first steps to non-stop movement, new expressions, endless curiosity, and a growing vocabulary. It is such a sweet season of life filled with even more “firsts”.

What the Session Looks Like
These sessions are perfect if you’re just wanting simple and sweet portraits of your little one! The 30-minute sessions are held exclusively at my cozy studio in Bulverde, TX. Due to the quick pace and limited time-frame, these sessions are reserved for baby only, as we want to maximize our time and keep the focus solely on your little one!
I’ve found that most little ones don’t love outfit changes, especially mid-session. So we stick to just one outfit to keep things calm and happy for your little one (and you!). This also allows us more time for portraits since we only have 30 minutes together.
The first 15 minutes of the session are spent capturing your baby’s personality and all their smiles, giggles, and tottering steps. This gives your child a chance to warm up to me and get comfortable in front of the camera. Then, for the second half of the session, we bring out the cake and let the fun begin!
What’s Included
A simple cake and cake stand are included with all cake smash sessions! If you’d like to bring any specific props or outfits to match your theme, feel free! I want the session to feel uniquely you while keeping things easy and stress-free.
